Download our software from this website only, as this is the only source we maintain. Other sources may be out of date or contain viruses.
Sometimes we change the way the software licensing detection works in order to combat software piracy. This means that occasionally with new releases your original license key may not work. Providing you are a valid customer (not refunded, not using pirated version of software) you may contact us with your original license details and order number (transaction ID) and we will issue a new license.
Downloading
All our software is listed on the "Home" page, simply click on the product you are interested in to view its details and access the download and buy links. Click on the "Download" button, save the file to your computer in a location you can easily find it after the download has completed (e.g. your desktop or downloads folder).Â
Using the software
Our software works on Mac OS X Leopard and above, and is usually packaged in a DMG file. Mount the DMG file (double-click it) and copy the enclosed application to your Applications folder.
If you need help using the software please read the enclosed documentation/help which came with the software, and then contact us if you are unable to resolve the problem. The documentation can be found from selecting "Help" in the application (usually from the "Help" main menu).
Our pay-for software works for 14 days as a demo. To continue using the software after this period you will need to buy a license from us (see next section, below). Some demo software may also have specific features disabled and nag screens.
We do not supply physical disks (CD/DVD), only 'digital' downloads (that is, you download the software from this website).
Purchasing the software (& purchasing conditions)
You will need internet access to download the software and an email address to which we can send details and your license. Ensure your email client (software) does not classify our email (or its content) as spam (check your junk mail/deleted folders).
Only purchase if you are truly satisfied with the software and have fully evaluated it. Simply click on the product you are interested in to view its details, download and buy links. Click on the "Buy" button and wait for the next page to load. Your browser must have JavaScript enabled.
All our online orders are process by PayPal. Please visit their site for their policies. Fully read each web page you visit, and make sure you order exactly what you want.Â
Once you have made your purchase, we will email you your license and details to download the software. This email should be sent to you within 24 hours. We are in the United Kingdom. If we receive an order between 9am and 6pm GMT we respond within a few hours. Orders are processed manually. Please be patient if we receive your order outside of our working hours, we usually cannot deal with it until the time mentioned above. Sometimes this may be the following day.
The email address associated with your PayPal account from which you use to pay us, will be the address we will send your license details to.
Please keep your downloaded software, license and all emails backed up to a safe place.
To help speed up your order you can email us your telephone number and provide a non-free email address so that we can verify your details with you. If you change your email address please ensure you inform us by email.
Once you buy our software, and providing your payment was valid (for example not fraudulent or refunded) your license lasts the lifetime of the product. You are entitled to any future versions of it for free. We do not charge for upgrades (yearly or otherwise) and this is reflected in our pricing.
Refunds
No refunds will be given if you purchase "the wrong" software, or purchase from an alternate source other than this website.
Refunds must be made within two weeks of the date you purchased the software, otherwise refunds are not possible.
The software must be deactivated in order for us to provide a refund. Details on how you can do this will be sent to you if a refund is requested. The deactivation process provides you with a special code which you must email to us for verify, and once deactivation of the software has been verified we can issue a refund.
LICENSE AGREEMENT
MacAppStuff grants the customer a non-exclusive and non-transferable license to use the “software†as long as the customer complies with the terms of this agreement. With a single-computer license you may use one (1) copy of the software on one computer. A multi-computer license may be purchased to allow the software to be used on more than one computer. The accompanying documentation and the software are copyrighted and all rights are reserved. The software and the information in the manual are subject to change without notice. The manual and the software may not, in whole or in part, be copied, photocopied or reproduced without written consent from MacAppStuff, although you may make copies of the software for backup purposes only. You may not loan, rent or license the software or the manual.
LIMITED WARRANTY
MacAppStuff makes no warranties, either express or implied, that the software will meet your requirements, that operation of the software will be uninterrupted or error free, or that all software errors will be corrected. In no event will MacAppStuff or the author be liable for direct, indirect, special, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from any defect in the software or manuals, even if they have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
